You maybe asking yourself why the hell has he written his first post on his brand new website about a chicken and an egg.

Well simply put it comes from the question that has intrigued human beings for centuries. What came first.

I write about this as it has something that I have struggled with creating this new business. I know everything I need to do. I know what I need to create. Its where to start that becomes an issue and as the master of procrastination I can safely say this has caused me to delay and delay and delay for almost a year now. That and other considerations.

But where do you start when your building anything new.

A new life!

A new business!

A new website!

Its all the same. Where do you start. At what point do you decide which is the start of your decision.

With me I over analyse everything. To the point where procrastination sets in and then nothing gets done.

If I had a £1 for every idea that popped into my head that I did nothing with I would at this point be a millionaire at least.

So the reason I started my first post with this existential question is I know that every person reading this has had this same issue at some point. Just like me. We all do it. To varying different degrees and for different reasons but we all do it.

Now your thinking well I obviously found a way past this question.

Yes I did.

But I had to change my entire mindset. I have had to fight this habit that has set in with me. I have had to change the way I plan things and think about things.

Here are a few things that I did to try and move beyond this first initial point.

First thing is I wrote down the first few ideas that popped into my head.

First one was putting some recipes in the life and soul section linked to the health and wellbeing section. So I cooked the foods I want to write about and took some pics.

I then wrote out the recipes.

I then thought I need partner networks to promote products that relate to my posts. So I then went out and contacted the companies for the products I would want to promote as part of my articles. Once I found them I signed up to promote those products.

I know it seems like I am not giving some things away. But that is on purpose. If I give you everything in my first blog (Impossible by the way. To much Info) then no one would come back to read the rest or even pay for the paid courses.

Anyway lets get back to the point. So I signed up to the partner sites. Some accepted me straight away but then others would not accept me and here we go again the chicken and the egg issue.

I can not join until I have an active website. But to make the website make sense and money I needed the partners. So once again I over analysed and spent 2 days trying to decide what to do. But unlike the past I came up with a plan. Part of that plan was to write a series of posts that would only include content for the partners I had and to make a list of the others for the time when I would be accepted.

And here we are.

Our first post.

This is why I called it the chicken and the egg. Its always the same where to start. Well lets just say just start. If you never start you will never achieve anything and you can always circle back to other things if they come up or you miss things out.

Best of all. No matter where you are in your journey remember one thing. Learn Monkeys is here for you. It was created for you. I tell them if I do it correctly it will never be finished. It will grow, It will change and adapt and hopefully one day I will look back and say I started that. I just wish all this was available when I first got started.
